  1. AppleLink Pricing*
  2.  
  3. Start-Up Fee
  4. When you sign up for an AppleLink account, we will assign you an account name
  5. and password and mail this information to you along with the AppleLink software
  6. and documentation. You will be billed a one-time start-up fee of $ 70.00 (plus
  7. applicable sales tax) per account for these services.

  9. Hourly Connect Fees
  10. You will be billed each month for your hourly connect time on the AppleLink
  11. network. The Hourly Connect Fee is $ 12.00 an hour.

  13. Kilocharacter (KC) Fees
  14. In addition to the hourly connect fee, you will be billed for the amount of
  15. information you access while connected to the network. Information access is
  16. measured in Kilocharacters (KCs). One KC is equivalent to 1,000 characters.
  17. Anytime you send or receive information between your computer and the AppleLink
  18. network, you will incur a KC charge.

  20.    KC Fee Prime time   $ 0.055 per KC
  21.    Weekdays 6am - 6pm Pacific Standard Time
  22.  
  23.    KC Fee Non-Prime time   $ 0.045 per KC
  24.    Weekdays 6pm - 6am Pacific Standard Time
  25.    All day week-ends & designated holidays

  27. Minimum Monthly Charge
  28. The minimum monthly AppleLink charge will be $ 12.00 per month.

  30. Termination
  31. Apple may terminate this agreement and your right to use AppleLink at any time.
  32. You may terminate your AppleLink agreement by sending a link to ALINK.MGMT or
  33. by mailing written notification to AppleLink System Administration, Apple
  34. Computer, Inc., P. O. Box 10600, Herndon, VA  22070-0600. Upon receipt your
  35. AppleLink account will be deactivated. You are responsible for all charges
  36. incurred through date of account termination.
